The pay system for classified positions is based upon the position's role title and the state's classification system. The position's role title is based upon complexity, results and accountability stated in classified employee's official position description.
The Department of Human Resources is responsible for conducting classification and compensation reviews of management requests for salary adjustments, change of duties, and title changes for all AP faculty. HR, in conjunction with the Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity, reviews the EEO impact on pay practices.
